Terms of service

Last updated: June 2026

These terms apply to tutoring services provided by ILE Education Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16584899 ("ILE", "we", "us"). By booking sessions with us you agree to them. We have kept them short and in plain English.

The service

We provide 1-1 online tutoring for GCSE and A-Level students.

Session content is tailored to the student's subjects, exam board and goals.

The free initial consultation carries no obligation.

Bookings and payment

Session times are agreed between you and your tutor.

Rates are set out on our pricing page and confirmed before tutoring begins.

Payment terms are confirmed at the time of booking.

Cancellations

If you need to move or cancel a session, tell your tutor as early as possible and they will rearrange it with you.

Sessions cancelled at very short notice or missed without notice may be charged. We will always be clear with you about this in advance.

This clause covers rescheduling individual sessions. Your separate statutory right to cancel the contract itself is set out in clause 4.

Your right to cancel

As a consumer entering into this agreement at a distance (e.g. online or by phone), you have a legal right to cancel your contract with us within 14 days of signing up, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

To cancel, email support@iled.uk within this period.

If tutoring has already started at your request within the 14-day period, we may charge for sessions already delivered up to the point of cancellation.

For parents and students

For students under 18, sessions are arranged with the agreement of a parent or guardian, who remains our point of contact for payments and any concerns.

We expect a respectful environment in sessions in both directions, and we will raise anything that gets in the way of effective tutoring with you directly.

How we protect the students we work with is set out in our safeguarding policy.

Our role

We will always work to improve a student's understanding and exam performance, and we will be honest about progress.

Exam results depend on many factors, so while we stand behind the quality of our tutoring, no specific grade can be guaranteed.

Materials

Notes, plans and resources we create for a student are for that student's personal study and may not be republished or resold.
