November 2020 and 2021 were autumn sittings after the summer exams were cancelled. They are real papers. AQA stops publishing here at 2023: newer series sit behind a centre login. Its assessment resources page also carries an examiners’ report for every series, which is worth reading.

OCR prints its questions and its answer booklet as separate documents, so the question paper below is questions only. The answer books are on OCR’s assessment page alongside the examiners’ reports. OCR also runs a second specification, Mathematics B (MEI, H640), with completely different papers. Check which one you are entered for.

Questions

Which years are here?

OCR from June 2018 to June 2025. Edexcel from June 2022 to June 2025. AQA from June 2018 to June 2023, which is as far as AQA publishes without a centre login. The autumn 2020 and 2021 sittings are included for all three.

Can I use another board’s papers?

For pure, yes. Differentiation is differentiation. Be careful with statistics, where Edexcel’s large data set has no equivalent elsewhere, and with mechanics, where the boards weight topics differently.

What do I do with a paper once I have marked it?

Look at the marks you dropped, not the score. Dropping M marks means you did not know the method. Dropping A marks means you did and slipped. Those need different fixes, and the total tells you nothing about which one you have.
