ILE Education takes the safety and wellbeing of the students it works with seriously. Most of our students are under 18, and everything below applies to how we arrange, deliver and oversee their sessions.
Every tutor delivering sessions to students holds a DBS certificate, obtained before they begin working with us. We also verify each tutor's own exam results and university place, since they only teach subjects they took top marks in themselves.
Sessions for under-18s are arranged with and overseen by a parent or guardian, who remains our primary point of contact throughout. Parents receive session notes and progress updates, and can ask at any time about how their child's sessions are being run.
Our designated safeguarding contact is Tahan Islam, who founded ILE and oversees how sessions are run. Any concern can be raised with him directly at tahan@iled.uk, or sent to support@iled.uk marked "Safeguarding". Concerns raised either way are treated as a priority.
If you believe a child is at immediate risk of harm, contact the police on 999 rather than waiting for a reply from us.
