Diagnostic

A free 60-minute lesson. Bring a paper you have attempted and we separate the concept errors from the working errors, which need completely different fixes.

A plan with a target

Mathematical technique addressed alongside content from the start, since it is usually the larger share of the missing marks.

Weekly sessions

Teaching, derivations and timed multi-step questions, with graph work built in rather than saved for a revision block.

Into the exams

Past papers under timed conditions and systematic practical question work.

Who it is for

Most students arrive at one of these points

Understands the physics, scores in the 60s. Almost always the working rather than the concepts.

Finding the maths the hard part. Common in students not taking Further Maths, and entirely fixable.

Year 12 foundations. Mechanics underpins fields and nuclear, and weakness there resurfaces in Year 13.

Questions

Before you book

Which exam boards do you cover?

AQA, Edexcel and both OCR specifications, A and B. They differ in optional topics and in how practical skills are assessed.

I understand the physics but keep losing marks. Why?

Usually the working rather than the understanding: multi-step calculations, units, or graph interpretation. Those are separable problems and they are the first thing we look at.

Do I need to be taking Further Maths?

No. Plenty of strong Physics students are not, and where the maths is the obstacle we teach it directly rather than assuming it.

Do you cover the practical endorsement?

Yes, and more usefully the written questions the practicals generate, which is where they are examined.
