Every ILE tutor is a current Oxbridge, Imperial or top-university student who earned top grades in the subject they now teach. They remember exactly where the marks are won and lost, because they won them recently.
ILE was started by Tahan Islam, a medical student at Cambridge who sat Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry at A-Level and came away with four A*s and a Distinction in the Advanced Extension Award. He didn't just pass these subjects. He understood them the way examiners reward.
The insight behind ILE is simple: the most effective tutors are not always the most experienced teachers. They're the people who recently lived through the same exams and still remember exactly where students lose marks. Every ILE tutor is a current student at Oxbridge, Imperial, LSE or another leading university, selected because they excelled in the subject they now teach.

Tahan, founderEvery ILE tutor is personally vetted. They hold offers from or are currently studying at Oxbridge, Imperial, LSE or other leading universities, and they teach only the subjects in which they themselves excelled at A-Level.
Every ILE student follows the same three-stage approach, personalised to their subject, exam board and timeline.
