Calculation marks are mostly method marks, and they are awarded for the steps: moles first, then the ratio from the equation, then the quantity asked for. Write them down. It also means an arithmetic slip early on costs one mark rather than the question, because everything after it can still be marked as error carried forward.
An arrow starts at a bond or a lone pair and ends where that pair of electrons goes. Each one is worth a mark, as are the dipoles and charges around it. Mechanism marks are the most reliably recoverable on the paper, because the rules never change and the same six mechanisms keep appearing.
“Stronger bonds” earns nothing. Name the interaction, say what it acts between, then compare it with the other substance in the question. Most lost marks here are a correct idea written without the comparison the command word asked for.
Concordant titres, why the burette is rinsed with the solution it will hold, which apparatus sets your significant figures, how to improve reliability rather than accuracy. The same handful of ideas is examined every year, and they are the cheapest marks on the paper.
